In 2001, we embarked on a mission to create a nursery where children, parents, and staff could truly experience a “home from home.”
Nestled within a spacious and charismatic detached Victorian house on leafy New Church Road in Hove, just a pebble’s throw from the beach, our nursery provides an enchanting environment. Our warm and comforting colour scheme, natural wooden furniture, large, airy rooms, and beautiful 100-foot private garden ensure children thrive in a familiar, fun, and relaxing atmosphere.
Free movement between rooms is central to our ethos. Our garden, featuring a lawn, wood chip areas, decking, a scientific exploration zone, fruit trees, a children’s allotment, and a hideaway, is an extension of the house. Here, children are free to explore, learn, and play, making every day an adventure.

Professional Nursery Childcare
At Home from Home Nursery, our carefully selected, dedicated staff are experienced and caring individuals, led by a senior team of qualified teachers. Each team member is passionate about providing the best for your child and works closely with families using the key person system to ensure excellent care and communication.
We cater to children aged 10 months to 5 years, operating from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays. Our nurturing environment, combined with personalised attention and a warm, family-like atmosphere, ensures exceptional levels of personal care and bonding with your child.
At Home from Home, we are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all the children in our care. We have a rigorous recruitment process, ensuring all staff are well-versed in key safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
